Leadership Consulting

Newsflash! When you hire me to be your team’s wingman to focus on leadership training, I am not going to tell them how to do their jobs. My role is to Check their Six!

What is Check Six?

Check Six is the concept of providing mutual support on and off the job, and it is critical to leadership consulting success. My approach to leadership consulting is simple:

I love working with passionate team players with a bias for action focused on driving positive results.

With this in mind, I help these passionate team players reach the next level by using my leadership book, SCRAMBLED, 10 Year Edition, as the foundation.

In working with America’s best and brightest, I know that just like me, my clients don’t like to finish second. It takes a colossal effort, passionate commitment, and consistent positive performance to become the best of the best. My clients also know it takes even more effort to stay on top.

My innovative leadership consulting and leadership training methodology, is focused on increased efficiency, resource management, corporate team building and a commitment to excellence. Wow! Just like flying high performance fighter jets!!! My leadership consulting techniques, and the lessons from my leadership book, accelerate individual personal and professional growth.

Here’s why: I have worked with companies who put a premium on corporate team building and who have spent millions of dollars on Six Sigma programs to fix their processes, but I focus on the people. In my 20+ years of leadership consulting experience I have seen time and time again that with the right people and the right training, your team will make the process fit the task. That’s the expectation you had when hired them, right??!!! The same is NOT true in reverse.  Six Sigma may fix your processes, but it most certainly does not fix your leadership training and leadership development challenges.

So what are you looking for in a leadership consultant? Well, that depends.

Ask yourself:

  1. What issues do I need to address and why?
  2. What specific goals do I have for this leadership consulting engagement?
  3. How will my team respond to?

I believe a great leadership consultant needs to have an impeccable record of experience in the specific area you are addressing. The leadership consultant should also have a proven record of results in his or her leadership consulting engagements. Finally, the leadership consultant should be a gifted communicator using many various means to make the message reach your team members. I can do all of that.

As I say in my leadership book, SCRAMBLED, 10 Year Edition, I optimize centralized control along with decentralized execution to enable your company’s objectives to be relentlessly, passionately pursued at every level. Let me help your corporate team building initiatives so we can foster a high performance corporate culture.
